St. Josephs has donated a total of €31,350 to Aidlink as a result of all of our fundraising efforts earlier this year.
Thanks to everyone who helped out and took part in the various fundraising events. This is a tremendous amount of money that Aidlink can use to help some of the most underprivileged parts of Uganda.

Today, we visited a farm in a community that is supported by Aidlink Ireland and Caritas Maddo. Everyone had the opportunity to harvest bananas and coffee, weave wicker baskets make pancakes and peanut butter. It was an honour to be invited to work alongside local farmers.

We celebrated Palm Sunday in St Jude's Catholic Church.
We visited Eco Brixs along with some students from Archbishop Kiwanuka. Eco Brixs is focused on creating green jobs for vulnerable members of the community through a closed loop recycling system in Masaka, Uganda. It was a great opportunity to learn about their closed-loop recycling programme to help tackle the issue of plastic waste and unemployment in Uganda. https://www.ecobrixs.org/
Home safe and sound in Ireland, having completed an immersion programme with Aidlink. A fantastic opportunity to learn and experience new things by attending school in Archbishop Kiwanuka and visiting communities supported by Caritas Maddo and Aidlink.
