Zumba
The TY’s have been taking part in Zumba in the local gym. It is an enjoyable experience and probably one of my most favourite modules so far. We have learned many dances and would recommend to try out zumba.

Speed Careers
Last Wednesday, the TY's gathered in the hall for a career guidance talk with the current Fifth Year's within the school. 2 students from each subject set up a small table to promote their subject and answer any questions that TY students may have had, and we moved around the room and were given two and a half minutes to talk with each table’s student.
Many people, myself included, found it to be a productive and useful experience which gave us a greater insight into what I want to do in the Leaving Cert, which I personally was quite stuck on. It was a great idea and I hope they keep this programme going for next year’s TY’s.

SUAS
On Thursday a group of TYs taking part in SUAS all went up to the library with the 1st years to find interesting books for them We all got paired with a first year and there was quite a lot of excitement. My first year and I picked out a Star Wars book and we’re looking forward to starting the paired reading.
