Scholars Ireland is an excellent opportunity for students to get an understanding of student life, gain knowledge of unique cutting edge research and gain confidence in communication and resilience. Nov 2021 saw Students attending their first tutorial with their PHD tutor, attend a study skills session and had a tour of the Trinity campus. Following the Launch Event ,the PhD tutors and students met online on a weekly basis .There was a real taste of University style pedagogy including independent research, critical thinking and higher-order questioning. The tutorials culminated in students completing a challenging university -style assignment, which was marked by PhD tutors.
March 23rd 2022 an Award Ceremony took place in TCD for our Scholars Ireland 2021/22 graduates. Well done to all.
