We saw great improvements in attendance over the month of October when we ran our last attendance initiative.
We are aiming to be even better now in the run up to Christmas!
Here are some reminders of what to do if you are late or absent and the importance of being an attendance HERO!
We are launching our Christmas attendance initiative TODAY!!
Today we took some time out of our teaching and learning to show the students the attached presentation on attendance.
The aim of this is to remind parents/guardians and students of our procedures for attendance and our procedures should a student be late to school.
We also wanted to highlight to students the importance and benefits of full attendance and of coming to school on time.
We hope that you will take the time to look at the attached presentation - it is short!

We are running a little initiative between now and the Christmas where every student with 95% attendance between Nov 19th and Friday 13th December will be entered into a draw to be in with a chance to win one of 6@ €50 pavilion shopping centre vouchers, one voucher per Year Group. The draw will take place on Monday 16th December.
95% attendance means being present for 17 out of the next 18 days. That's 100 hours of classes.
Students with improved attendance between now and December, their parents/guardians will be entered into another draw for a chance to win a family hamper of christmas goodies! Best of luck to everyone! Make everyday count!
- There will be an attendance drive again in the new year where we put a focus on improving or maintaining our attendance.
- There will be lots of prizes such as vouchers, pizza parties and movie afternoons as well as an attendance trip in 2025 to reward and celebrate our top attenders!
Thanks for your support.
