Europe Day celebrations took place in St Josephs'Secondary school. Junior EPAS Ambassadors supported by Ms Irwin & Mr Doyle organised events for staff, students and special guests ; an EU Ambassador, MEP, Minister and Senator.

Europe Day celebrations took place in St Josephs'Secondary school. The Junior EPAS Ambassadors supported by Senior EPAS Ambassadors Ms Irwin and Mr Doyle organised events for students and staff on Thursday 9th May and Friday 10th May.

This was enhanced by the presence of MEP Barry Andrews and Senator Clifford Lee on Thursday and the Luxembourg Ambassador to Ireland Ms Florence Ensch with Minister for State, Joe O’ Brien on Friday.

They visited St. Joseph’s to celebrate EU Day encourage participation in the upcoming European Elections and hear about the EPAS Programme , European Studies, and Politics & Society in our school. They were presented with a selection of local produce to thank them for their visit. EU Day 4.jpg
