Located within the cricketing epicentre of Ireland it is not surprising that many of the students who have represented St. Joseph’s at inter-school level have gone on to represent both club and country. Conor Armstrong, Catriona Beggs, Ciara O’Gorman and Ciara Metcalfe are just some of our students who along with the pride and privilege of playing for their beloved school now boast international caps. It is hoped that St. Joseph’s can add more student names to the school’s illustrious cricketers list this year.

Cricket News 2010 / 2011

The cricket co-ordinator of the school is Mr. McGinley and it is hoped that St. Joseph’s will field 3 cricket teams this year, U-14 boys and girls and U-16 boys. Congratulations to Patrick Monks on being capped for Ireland.The cricket season begins after Easter and both matches and training will take place at Rush Cricket Club.
